PREDICTIONS OR JUST DREAMS??

In cultural traditions throughout the world, premonition dreams have long been accepted as real and significant. They were recorded on clay tablets by the ancient Babylonians and Assyrians, and were taken very seriously in classical Egypt, Greece, and Rome.

Modern research shows that premonitionn dreams are more common among women than among men. The future events usually involve people close to the dreamer.

The events foretold in premonition dreams may not occur until several weeks after the dream. It is believe that some dreamers even appear to keep to a regular schedule.

I was doing my research about this topic and I found a case that shocked me..
Barbara Garwell was a woman who consistently has premonition dreams, she claims that 21 days after she dreams about an event, it comes true. For example, she says that in September of 1981, she dreamed that a group of dignitaries from the middle East were assassinated while sitting in stadiun seats.
On October 6, twenty -one days after her dream, the President of Egypt, Anwar Sadat, was assassinated along with seven other people while watching a parade from stadium-like seats in Cairo....So, Imagine, that's what I read I don't know if it is true..

Premonition dreams have apparently evolved to suit modern cultures. In the past, one's ancestor might have been the source of a predition in a dream. Now, that role might be played by an electronic gadget.

One researcher who has classified premonition dreams has defined a " media announcement type" category. In this type of dream, the person sees information about a future event from some type of media, such as a newspaper, radio , or TV shows.

According to one study, dreams like this are particulary accurate.

Very few scientists, however, think dreams can truly predict the future. People from the other hand believe that it is illogical to think that, and therefore unscientific, to think thatm an effect (knowledge of an event) can appear before its cause ( the event).

Some skeptics say that so-called premonitions are really just inferences or educated guesses about what might happen. Other critics believe that any similarity between a dream and real life event in only a coincidence.

So....at the end......

What do you think???
Are dreams some kind of premonitions or not???
